It’s a Champions Game

It’s a Champions Game
Ryan Kesler
In a game nothing short of breathtaking, the United States was defeated in overtime by Canada

While watching this game tonight, I was reminded of why I am a hockey fan. The thrill, the grace, the aggression, the spirit, the pride, and the competition. David Krejci’s Czech Republic mates net a 3-1 win over Slovakia
Slovakia captained by no other than Zdeno Chara fell 3-1 over David Krejci’s Czech republic yesterday in a seemingly uncharacteristically low scoring Olympic game. Tomas Plekanec, Jaromir Jagr, and Patrik Elias helped secure the win for the Czech with a goal each as Marian Gaborik attempted the same despite the rest of his team rolling over and playing dead.
