Quite possibly too late, the Bruins are beginning to look pretty good
The Bruins are scoring, 17 goals in their last 5 games to be exact. That averages out to 3.4 goals per game which equals a pretty damn good average. Tim Thomas doesn’t like it though, since most of them are scored when he ISN’T in goal, but is instead on the bench extrapolating the differences between Oreo’s and non cream containing desert cookies. After being pulled “again” Tuukka came in to mop up the mess and the Bruins proceeded to score almost immediately after the change was made. Something tells me they just play better with Rask between the piping.
Mark Stuart’s been playing like a pissed off high schooler earning I believe 4 fighting majors in the last three games. I don’t know what got
into him but all of a sudden he looks like a hockey player, I don’t know if it’s the Campbell’s Chunky soup that Donovan Mcnabb’s mom has been serving up before games or what but seeing him wrestling with another man was nothing short of shocking. Sean Thornton had a couple of his usual free style rap battle type fist fight’s sprinkled in for entertainment as well, I love watching that guy’s 80’s porn director mustache flap in the breeze as punches are thrown.
The Bruins just finished wrapping up their second win in 5 games which…sucks actually, but the Bruins somehow looked good doing it. They’re playing well, the addition of Dennis Seidenberg seems to be at the very least “good”, he’s certainly on par with Morris and seemingly a bit better as well as far as his raw defensive ability, he seems craftier with a stick, and is a very physical player on top of it laying hard hits in each game he has started.
Savard is still totally screwed as far as we know, he 
could be eating and drinking through a tube for all that we know. Losing him is a pretty big deal as I’ve mentioned, he’s the assistant captain of the team for Christ sake, do you think if Captain Hook died everyone would have carried on like it wasn’t a big deal? No, they wouldn’t have, they would have killed eachother and caused mass panic aboard the shoddily built pirate ship they were floating on. Oh well, the seasons almost over and then Tim Thomas will become free to spoon feed Savvy all summer.
